WORSHIP

What to Expect

Visiting a new church for the first time can be an awkward and intimidating experience. We want to help you feel at home. Whether you’ve been a Christian for years, or simply checking things out for the first time, we welcome you here at Clearnote.

Here’s some of what you can expect during our worship gathering:

Singing

During the service, our worship team leads us with songs that declare God’s truth and promises. We sing both original music along with the great hymns of the faith & the Psalms. As we sing, our focus is not on ourselves, but on the mighty God who made us and calls us to Himself.

Preaching

The Bible is the very Word of God. Hearing God’s word proclaimed is life-changing. It convicts us and heals us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Each week, Pastor Dave preaches from the Scriptures in a way that is faithful, challenging and helpful.

Prayer

Each Sunday, we have the privilege of joining together before God in prayer. Whether we are asking for His forgiveness, praying for our nation’s leaders, or thanking Him for providing, we approach God’s throne with boldness and confidence, knowing that our heavenly Father hears and answers us.

Communion

Communion is the meal Jesus instituted for his church to remember and participate in his death on the cross. At Clearnote Church, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together every other week after the sermon. We invite all who profess faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and have been baptized into His church, to participate with us in the Lord’s Supper.

What else should I know?

  • A nursery is provided for children up through 3 years old.
  • Our service is about an hour and a half long.
  • You don’t need to dress up. We’re more interested in seeing you than what you’re wearing.
