Faith Over Fear

In the biblical narrative of Martha, we find a profound lesson for women about casting off situational fear and placing trust in God’s timing and transformative work within our hearts and minds. Martha, known for her hospitality and diligence, found herself consumed by the demands of serving and organizing, particularly when Jesus visited her home. We witness Martha’s concern and anxiety over the tasks at hand, contrasting with her sister Mary’s choice to sit at the feet of Jesus, absorbing His teachings.
We invite you to share in a refreshing time of encouragement and edification. We’d recommend bringing your Bible, some note-taking supplies, and a friend! Babes in arms are welcome, but there will be no formal childcare.
